One of my favorite people on instagram is Jewel Marlowe. You’ve probably seen her interiors, One Room Challenge spaces, and DIYs around the internet, and for good reason. She’s the QUEEN of color and pattern mixing. Lucky for us, her colorful eclectic home tour just went live, so get ready for so much inspiration!
Jewel has completed a few of the past One Room Challege projects and each time, her style shines through. She combines so many different pieces (including cool DIYs!) that make her interiors stand out. Her spaces have this dreamy romantic with some edge vibe that is glorious. Let me show you what I mean.

The style for this living room/dining room combo is French Bohemian. Pretty great, right? She clarifies that in this case, “bohemian” does not mean “boho”. Bohemian is eclectic and cool, whereas boho has come to mean neutral and earthly. She’s going more for the Freddy Mercury type of bohemian. Nailed it!
Do you remember me writing about serengeti leopard print in one of my Everyday Obsession posts? The pairing with black and white stripes, marble, and velvet makes my heart soar. Have you ever seen such a unique home? It’s the perfect mix of moody and bright.

My love of green malachite runs deep. I used a great green malachite side table in my traditional master bedroom design. Here, Jewel covers an entryway table with wallpaper for the coolest addition of texture. And that fringe? I’m dead.

You’ve probably seen this bunk bed upholstery DIY floating around, and I think it’s one of her more popular posts. This space is so dreamy for two of her girls to share. She says it is a preppy play on a French apartment.

This is the most colorful eclectic home I’ve ever seen, seamlessly mixing DIYs, vintage, and modern. What a special room for her girls, filled with so much love! Just look at this vignette!

This was her master bedroom reveal for this past One Room Challenge. Jewel is just a gem (no pun intended!). We were messaging back and forth talking about options and she was gracious enough to send me some behind the scenes shots during the challenge. She DIYed the headboard, the wall mural, the duvet cover, the white spike vase, the fringe, the lamps, and probably more that I’m forgetting.
This entire room was custom because of her savvy DIY ways. And as a result, I am THRILLED for her to announce she was selected by Better Homes & Gardens to be a featured designer in the next One Room Challenge. Congrats girl!

Can you believe this is a TEEN’S bedroom?! My style when I was a teen was certainly not this elevated. This colorful eclectic home just oozes cool. You can check out the full bedroom tour here.

This is the detailed runner for the stairway of Jewel’s 2 story entry makeover. As you’ve probably noticed, the details of this colorful eclectic home are just so special. There is so much beauty in every inch of this stunning home. You can check out the full home tour.
It’s a pretty well known fact that my favorite homes are the colorful ones, but, what do you think? Are you insanely inspired to break out of your comfort zone and get wild? As a lover of DIYs, wallpaper, color, and all things vintage, I cannot get enough of this home.
What is your favorite room of this home?
