Happy Thursday, friends! It’s no secret that I love art. I think art is arguably the most important element of the room because of its ability to elevate the entire space. Art can transform the entire feel of the room. If you have a traditional space, but add really cool art, suddenly the whole vibe changes. I’m all about colorful and casual interiors with an element of fun, and colorful graphic art prints are the way to do it.
Earlier in the week, I posted a mood board of a boho/tribal neutral living room. It was a great design, but something was missing. The space needed some unique colorful graphic art prints to make it pop and bring the space to life. After adding 2 large scale graphic pieces, the whole room changed. It became more warm and inviting, not taking itself too seriously.
The great thing about art, is that it instantly makes the space seem more uniquely curated and interesting. There are so many colors in art, so it can literally tie everything together in the space. Even if you have a neutral space, you can add some graphic art in a neutral color palette. One of my favorite abstract artists for neutral spaces is Anna Ullman. She has these amazing bold graphic pieces that are beautiful in neutral environments but also add a lot of personality. Monochromatic rooms don’t have to be boring!
Colorful Graphic Art Prints I’m Loving
I know that buying art can be scary (and expensive), but the best way to do so on a tight budget is by purchasing prints. I’ll be doing a post soon on where I purchase art prints for my home. I am an artist, but I also love supporting other artists. Half of the art in my apartment was made my me, and the other half has been purchased from art sites I’ll share soon.
Today’s colorful graphic art prints are all from art.com. I love art.com because of the variety of sizes you can purchase as well as the frequent sales. Literally, I’ve sourced art prints for my clients that was as little as $2 on sale. By the way, this isn’t sponsored. I just will always share sources because it benefits everyone! So without further adieu, let me show you the colorful graphic art prints I’m LOVING lately.

I LOVE these prints. Abstract pieces showcasing the human body are my absolute favorite. I have 3 abstract nudes in my own home, one of which is in the bathroom and that just cracks me up.
How unique and interesting are these prints? The abstract nude would go so well in a bathroom and I would even place the other print in a kid’s room. Kids need awesome art too, and that print kind of reminds me of a baby bird. It’s simple, abstract, colorful, and packs a punch.
If you are not familiar with artist Joan Miro, well then get familiar, friend! I use his work in countless projects because so much of it is simple, but also really powerful. It will not overpower a room, but it will be a statement piece. Joan Miro strikes the perfect balance of fun and livable. I especially love using his work in kid’s bedrooms, play rooms, and nurseries.
I also really enjoy cultural art prints like the one on the left. They add so much meaning to a space and now, in our current political climate, you need to say it loud and proud. You can never go wrong with history and heritage. I’m also a huge fan of Jean-Michel Basquiat. I have a whole post devoted to his awesome art coming up.
So, what do you think? Are you a lover of colorful graphic art prints? If you’re scared, I get it, but maybe try to purchase a small print to use on a gallery wall or in a small area like a powder room. You will be amazed at how much life these art pieces bring.
