Fall One Room Challenge Design Plans (Part 1)

I love the One Room Challenge. I think it is such a fun way to build community on social media while also being a creative genius. There are 20 featured designers and then tons and tons of other participants. Today, I’ll be sharing half of the fall One Room Challenge design plans of the featured designers and I’ll be sharing the other half in my next post.

This is like the third or fourth time I’ve written about the ORC, because I think it is SO fun to explore the homes of people who actually have more than one room (lol). Basically, my entire apartment consists of two rooms plus a bathroom, so maybe whenever we move, I might try out this challenge!

There is nothing everyone loves more than a good before and after and what’s great about the One Room Challenge is that you get both the before and after, but also all the great progress shots!

There will be good old fashioned DIYs, contractors tracking dust everywhere, things going wrong, because these are real renovations over the course of 6 weeks. You’ll get to see how a space really comes together.

Fall One Room Challenge Design Plans (Part 1)

I usually do a roundup of my favorite rooms at the end of these challenges, but this time, I’m going to do another post introducing the spaces that will be transformed as well as the design plans. There are 21 plans I am sharing, so grab some coffee and settle in for some inspiration!

Because there are so many featured designers and participants, I’ll only be sharing images without the full write ups on each person. I have linked the socials of everyone I’m sharing today, so if you see something you like, click that link and explore that person!

I already follow half of these featured designers, but now I am exposed to brand new people just like you! Finding new creatives is always a super exciting thing. There is really nothing more special than seeing someone’s perspective through a brand new lens.

Womp womp. At the time of writing this (10/9), the week 1 images weren’t loading on her page on both my laptop and phone:-( But! I do remember seeing the before and it is a small bathroom with an army green tub…you know, super retro. I remember the paint samples were shades of deep blue and gray.

I will continue to check back on her week 1 post and update images.

Design Plan:

Week 2 images will load so, we’ve got a sneak peak of the new flooring!

So…..what do you think about the fall One Room Challenge featured designers? Impressive, right? Many of them are choosing to makeover giant rooms which include multiple areas (bravo to them!).

That makes sense right? I mean, if your kitchen and living room are technically in the same space, or your master suite includes a bedroom, bathroom, and entry, it really wouldn’t make sense not to tackle those areas in their entirety.

Get ready for tomorrow’s post rounding up the other half of the One Room Challenge featured designers! PS: ORC messaged me saying there OVER 300 people participating in all. WOW! There will be a TON of really great makeovers!
