Yesterday, I wrote about my everyday obsession with the Saarinen table. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have $8,000 to spend on the real thing. Lucky for you, I’ve rounded up the best reproductions of this mid century modern table. The generic Saarinen tables are called “tulip” tables, FYI. Today, I’m presenting you with the 8 most affordable tulip tables so that you too can have this gorgeous statement piece in your home.
If you are interested in having the real thing, but for a bargain, I would recommend scouring ebay, craigslist, Apartment Therapy Marketplace, and Facebook Marketplace. I’m not sure you would have luck finding this in a thrift store, though. It’s far too popular and is a very pricey item, but good luck. You might be able to get a good deal.

What do you think? These reproductions are pretty good, right? Now, the original Knoll Saarinen table comes in a variety of finishes, including a marble top. If you are looking for a truly custom look, there are people who will custom build these tables for you with your exact specifications and desired materials. Hint: check out the black and white marble versions; they are to die for.
In this post, I have included the traditional white affordable tulip tables, an option with a wooden top, as well as an option with a marble top. So you have a nice well rounded grouping. I hope you consider one of these tables for your home if you are in the market. I don’t have a proper corner to make a dining nook in my own apartment, but best believe that I have a mood board with the Ikea option, cantilever chairs, and a gorgeous black and white jute rug.
