It’s a few days before Thanksgiving and I don’t want you to rush around stressing about decor. Decor is only reserved as fun times. Choosing to make moments special by creating a warm and special atmosphere is a JOY. So I’m just going to keep popping in to give you inspiration and take the guesswork out of your tablescape. Sound good? So, today, I’m sharing how my favorite designers are setting their Thanksgiving tables. Take notes from the pros!
Designers' Thanksgiving Table Decor
These looks are easy, attainable, and best of all: able to be replicated with what you have on hand or can easily and affordably find. Below each image, I’m telling you how to get the look.
1. Rose gold and rose with Molly Hatch
Get the look:
- floral plates or vintage plates from your local thrift store (don’t worry, all plates don’t need to match!)
- classic printed napkin (stripes, gingham, dots, more florals, etc)
- vintage minimalist candlesticks (try brass or silver from the thrift store!)
- goldtone flatware (easy to find in stock locally or try the thrift store!)
2. Traditional and feminine with Table and Dine
Get the look:
- Trader Joe’s (or your local grocery store) florals
- mercury glass votives
- floral plates or vintage plates from your local thrift store (don’t worry, all plates don’t need to match!)

- classic white table runner (easy to find locally from Target, dollar store, etc)

- blue and white ceramics from thrift store
- solid cloth napkins in coordinating color with plates

- citrus (mandarin, clementine, orange, blood orange, grapefruit)

Get the look:
- amber glasses
- white plates (use your own!)
- wrinkled linen tablecloth

- blue and white porcelain from thrift store or a colorful pitcher used as a vase!
- purple florals from Trader Joe’s or grocery store (pictured above is buddleia “butterfly bush” and if you have one, you can cut stems from that!)

There ya go! With just a stop at your local thrift store, dollar store, Target, craft store, and/or grocery store, you can have an uber special curated Thanksgiving table that looks collected over the years. With the product supply chain being in shambles, shop small! Shop local! Shop second hand! Take ideas from this post and make it your own.
I’ve given you loose guidelines so you can easily recreate any of these looks using what palette and objects speak to you:-) Enjoy your Thanksgiving table and the process of creating it.
