9 DIY Thankgiving Tablescape Tutorials

Earlier this week, I designed a colorful Thanksgiving tablescape that you can easily replicate yourself. And today, I’m sharing my favorite DIY Thanksgiving tablescape tutorials. There should be some familiar faces on this list, so you know you’re in good hands:-)

It’s no secret that I love a good DIY, but after my DIY kitchen cosmetic update that I did myself (with zero power tool skills, tiling skills, or renovation skills), I am setting my sights on simpler (and more sane) endeavors. I am now all about the simplest way to get to the finish line when it comes to DIYs. I am also a visual learner who likes options, so that’s why I want to share some stellar DIY Thanksgiving tablescape tutorials that stood out to me.

One last thing before the tutorials: I would be smitten if you allowed your decorating to be a fun experience, but I also get how it can be really easy to deep dive into the comparison trap. If you’re stressed out and worried about “getting it right” (spoilers: there’s literally no such thing as ‘right’ when it comes to decor), you will miss out on the present moment in which you care so much about yourself and your people that you are creating a blissful and beautiful environment to enjoy. So let’s learn how to create something beautiful together, without worrying about replicating these designs perfectly. It’ll be great:-)

4. Styling Suburbia

5. Simple Stylings

6. Craftberry Bush

9. Inspired by Charm

I hope this was helpful and inspiring! I hear all the time from my clients and friends that when they hit the wall, they are inspired and ready to go again after talking to me. Not that I’m something amazing, but because sometimes you just need an outside perspective and a source of inspiration. You can see how much or how little other people are crafting their tables, you can gauge what you’re most comfortable with, inspired by, etc. Now all that’s left to do is to get to it!

My advice is to enjoy these DIY Thanksgiving tablescape tutorials and, in the spirit of having an anti-perfection mindset, maybe even consider recruiting other family members (including littles!) in your creating. I guarantee it will be a wonderful memory for everyone involved.

Here’s to aligning ourselves with creativity and making time for playing and doing things with our hands that bring joy.
