If you read this sunscreen post, you now know the difference between natural and chemical sunscreens. Today, we are rounding up the EWG (Environmental Working Group) approved list of best natural sunscreen. This summer, let’s all vow to protect the skin of ourselves and loved ones!
It is so so important to protect your skin; I cannot stress this enough. Just because you don’t burn, doesn’t mean your skin isn’t getting damaged. Did you know a tan is just damaged skin cells? Scary, right?
Did you also know that some of the sun spots you are seeing in adulthood could have been caused by inadequate sun protection from childhood? So, do yourselves a favor this summer and choose a best natural sunscreen from this list. They are EWG approved, so you know they are safe and effective.

I support the EWG (Environmental Working Group), which is a non-profit advocacy group with the goal of being a resource of clean products. You can look up brands, ingredients, and specific items on their site and they will give it a toxicity ranking. In a country where the beauty industry isn’t regulated like the European countries, this is so needed.
The EWG wrote a very helpful article about specific ingredients in sunscreen and which ones are safe. I highly recommend you read EWG’s sunscreen article for more information. They do really great work and are a necessary advocacy group.

We all spent (too much) money on skincare. Protecting your skin from the sun is the only FREE way to prevent premature aging, sun spots, wrinkles, and other skin woes. Additionally, it’s important to protect yourself against skin cancer. Enjoy your fun in the sun, and remember to use protection!
