Hello!

Welcome to the 3rd installment of my favorite tile series. Today, I will show you my favorite WHITE tiles. For all you neutral lovers out there, today is your day! As usual, we have 4 categories to go over: hex, rectangle, square, and miscellaneous.

This set of options is actually one of my favorites, which is surprising. You thought I would choose something more colorful, didn’t ya? #Same. But with a neutral palette, you have so many options for TEXTURE! A lot of these options have some really cool texture because when your defining element isn’t a color, you have some wiggle room for added interest. In this post, you’ll see a lot of 3d tile (SO COOL), tile with gold inlay, stamped tile, and so much more. This is probably the post with every design element included. It’s literally just a big ol’ pot of awesome.

Another reason I am particularly found of white is it lends itself to be the perfect starting point for any other daring decisions. You can leave it tonal, or mix it up with pops of black to make it super awesome and modern. White is just the best. Need proof? Look at these beauties!!!

The first image is by a favorite of mine, Sarah Sherman Samuel. She’s currently designing Mandy Moore’s entire house, btw. Check out that white wall tile? She layed it out in a herringbone pattern so it looks really modern, updated, and thought about. And that black hex floor tile? Oh man; it’s a yes for me dog. The second image is by internet famous design guru, Amber Interiors. Really, there’s no interior shot that’s not absolutely amazing coming from her. I love the white subway tile with the cool black and white floor tile. It looks really open and airy, but also kinda naturalistic. In the words of Liz Lemon, I want to go to there.

See how even the pros use white subway tile? It’s forever a classic. Since literally everyone is a fan of white subway tile (and why wouldn’t you be?), there are a couple of amped up versions of it in this post. What do I mean by amped up? I mean that it’s still white subway tile, but there’s an extra design element. I don’t want to spoil it so you’ll have to check it fo’ yo’self. Let’s just say that the tile isn’t flat.

You’ll also notice that when it comes to textured wall tile that is nearly seamless, you would be hard pressed to find greater quality and design than Porcelanosa. Truly. The Misc section of this post is like 75% Porcelanosa tiles. They are remarkable and I regret nothing. These wall tiles will make you feel like you live in a breezy California home with a walk-out balcony connected to your giant master bathroom SUITE. They are gorgeous and I want you to use one in your bathroom then send me a picture so I can drool at it like it’s a cheeseburger from Five Guys.

So, here we go! All tile sources are listed and I hope you find something that you enjoy staring at with your eyeballs. Enjoy!
