I have always had an appreciation for beauty and a desire to make things better. Helping people and creating a more beautiful world is what I am naturally drawn to, and in 7th grade, I decided I wanted to be an interior designer. Fast forward some years and a small detour by way of marketing degree, I went on to get a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design.
In May 2012, I moved to NYC from Cincinnati and in 2017, started Oblique New York after realizing my goal of making good design more accessible.
When not designing, you’ll find me in Central Park, likely taking pictures of flowers.

When possible, I like to shop second hand and from small business owners and artists. I balance new with old, creating welcoming spaces oozing with warmth and personality.
Founded in 2017, Oblique New York is a woman owned and operated small business based in NYC and digitally serving clients all over the world. The name Oblique represents the desire to do things differently–oblique literally means to diverge from the path, which is what I set out to do within the interior design industry.
Oblique New York was one of the first businesses to offer e-interior design. In our modern world, I found e-design to be the greatest answer to quality design at affordable pricing, without sacrificing service. E-design allows me to deliver quality, personality-filled designs that don’t cost a fortune like the traditional design model.
At Oblique New York, clients receive high design at a lower cost and shorter timeline than traditional design services. My designs are unique, personal, and the process is fun!
