I have always had an appreciation for beauty and a desire to make things better. Helping people and creating a more beautiful world is what I am naturally drawn to, and in 7th grade, I decided I wanted to be an interior designer. Fast forward some years and a regretful business degree later, I went on to get a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design.
In May 2012 I moved to NYC and eventually started Oblique New York after realizing that I want to do things differently in this industry. And off I went!
I design budget-friendly, lifestyle-driven interiors centered around comfort and happiness. I believe everyone deserves an inspired home that elevates your mood and gives you support.

My spaces are atmospheric, soulful, with playful personality and perennial peace. I design around your lifestyle and dreams, so that your environment flows around you, not the other way around.
When possible, I like to shop second hand and from small business owners and artists. I balance new with old soul, creating welcoming spaces with spirit and good energy.
Oblique New York is a woman owned and operated small business based in NYC and digitally serving clients all over the world. The name Oblique represents my desire to do things differently. The word oblique literally means to diverge from the path, which is what I created Oblique to do within the interior design industry.
I was actually one of the first pioneers of digital e-interior design! In our modern world, I found e-design to be the greatest answer to quality design at affordable pricing, without sacrificing service and connection. E-design allows me to deliver quality, personality-filled designs that don’t cost a fortune like the traditional design model. I also wanted to explore how the home could combat stress and make you feel uplifted, cared for, and at peace. I am a forever student and constantly learning holistic modalities to implement in my spaces.
OBLIQUE is the result of my exploration of creating an affordable path to really good design that helps you live better and more fully. I’m so happy to share my passion with you. Thanks for being here!
